Dog Rescue

There are over 2,000 dog rescues in the United States ranging from specified from individual breeds to mixed breeds. Josie, my boxer was a rescue dog. The Boxer rescue of South Florida introduced Josie and I. Although rescue dogs often have a story another life if you will they are still great companions.
When I got Josie she was 4 years old and had given birth to about 8 litters of pups. When the rescue got to her she had a huge metal chain around her neck so heavy it was actually weighing her down. Josie started off timid and skinny afraid of any fast movements; but now she has all her boxer qualities she carefully follows outside and is bouncing and excited to see you at seven now she truly has a new life.
There are several rescues in every city normally for a breed you have in mind do some research and I’m sure you can find a great pooch to take home.
