Faith Walks

Have you heard the story of Faith, an amazing dog who has practically defied the odds. Faith is a two legged dog. Not only was she born with badly deformed legs but she has amazingly learned how to walk upright.
Faith was born in 2002 and is believed to be a full blooded Chow Chow, amazingly faith was the only puppy with deformities to live from this litter. She was actually born with her two back legs and a highly deformed front arm which had to eventually be amputated. When they first got faith they were told they would need to put her down but the family just couldn’t do that. They not onlu gave her a loving home but they worked hard to get her to walk upright.
It was a scary time, the way faith got around when they first brought her home was by dragging herself along the ground. The family decided then to try and teach her to walk and hop to make it easier in her body. They would take a spoonful of peanut butter and hold it above her head, time and patience paid of for the family as faith slowly but eventually learned how to get around much easier.
