If the fleas are bad the best thing to do is buy a flea comb which trap the fleas when brushed through the hair; make sure to dip the brush in warm soapy water in order to kill them.

Now the fleas are finally off my dog am I done? Absolutely not, just because the fleas ON your dog are gone that doesn’t mean they’ll stay away. They can be in your house hiding in cracks and carpets as well as your yard. To overcome your house the main thing is VACUUM! Get all the hard to reach places and don’t leave anything out, after this step you can finally spray the insecticide, which will kill flea eggs, larvae, and adult fleas. You can also use flea bombs or flea foggers to help rid your home and yard of these pests.

Remember, to help prevent these fleas from coming back you must do these at the same time, you don’t want to free the house of fleas, yet have your dog sleep without bathing him all that will do is give the fleas another chance to fall all over your house.
