So when you think of the most powerful dog in the world, what do you see?
Probably some huge bull dog or some rotweiller that grew up too close to a power plant and looks like he might be half wolf. But all of those are wrong, this is what he looks like:
This little Portugese Water Dog was given to the presidents family around Easter of 2009 by Ted Kennedy. The Obamas decided to name the dog Bo, based on a grandparents nickname.
I know what you’re thinking, he looks kind of weak to be the strongest in the world, but just think of it, he can pee on the president and live to bark the tale. How many people do you know would get way that?
The breed itself (portugese water dogs) are known to be high energy and great for people with allergies because they dont affect allergy sufferers much.
So if you plan to get a portugese water dog of your own, just don’t try and compare your dogs, Bo may have an upper hand since h comes with his own secret service.
